We are excited to announce the newest addition to our product line, the variable geometry mobile robotic systems previously manufactured by Recce Robotics and Inuktun Services. Available world-wide through our dealers and distributors, the Delta Extreme and Delta Micro (formerly known as the VGTV Extreme and VGTV Micro) have been used in a wide range of projects and applications including Urban Search and Rescue (USAR), railway culvert inspections, nuclear plant inspection and monitoring, cross border tunnel evaluation, and remote reconnaissance.
Typically utilized in areas that are unsafe or inaccessible to people, these systems are completely portable; weighing only 12 pounds they can be easily loaded into a backpack and deployed by a single operator with minimal training. The vehicles incorporate a high quality tilting zoom camera and LED lighting, with options for on-screen laser lines, bi-directional audio and a HeliosTM image enhancement system. And, because they can be operated in air or underwater to depths of 30 metres (100 ft), the Delta systems are suitable for almost any confined space access project or remote inspection application. They were some of the very first robotic crawlers ever used for USAR (post 9/11 at the World Trade Center), and have been utilized in many other rescue and recovery efforts after hurricanes, mudslides and earthquakes.
Whether it’s regularly scheduled inspections , emergency operations, or remote monitoring, the Crystal Cam Delta robots are an ideal tool for the job. Contact us today at email@example.com, to learn more.
